This summer, Faith-Ann Young was honored to be selected as one of 15 finalists from more than 3,300 applicants for a 2026 Bobby Anspach Studios Foundation Microgrant.

First two gatherings of Memory Teahouse, a participatory installation exploring memory, place and belonging. The project debuted at Creative Visions Foundation in Malibu in May, before traveling to Altadena Healing Village in June.

Presenting Light & Air Studies as part of dublab’s Ocean of Sound at the Annenberg Community Beach House in June. Suspended translucent textiles transformed a room overlooking the Pacific, shifting with the changing daylight and ocean breeze.

Ocean of Sound is an annual event at the Beach House hosted by Dublab dedicated to music and mindfulness.

This year, JACCC presents Kibō Nobori (hope flags), my ongoing installation series inspired by the Japanese tradition of koinobori, carp streamers flown in celebration of Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day).

Honored to be part of “Water is a Currency” Exhibition at Annenberg Beach House. The exhibition traces and defines diaspora as a water-based system of spiritual transmission - where value is generated through movement, knowledge survives through circulation, and attunement operates as ancestral intelligence. 

The works in this exhibition engage water as a material force that remembers movement, labor, prayer and survival. 

Faith-Ann is hosting a Sumi-E Expression Workshop at the 150th Anniversary of the City of Santa Monica.
