OCEAN OF SOUND - JUNE 2026

This summer, I presented Light & Air Studies as part of dublab’s Ocean of Sound at the Annenberg Community Beach House.

Suspended translucent textiles transformed a room overlooking the Pacific, shifting with the changing daylight and ocean breeze.

Ocean of Sound - Light + Air Studies

Ocean of Sound is an annual event at the Beach House, where visitors can lounge poolside at sunset or swim while custom underwater speakers play ambient live performances and mindful DJ sets.

This year’s addition feature sound installations like live performances from artists such as Meg Duffy (Hand Habits) and Qur'an Shaheed.

It was a beautiful opportunity to create work in direct conversation with the sea - allowing the changing light, air and movement of the space to become part of the installation itself.
