Los Angles Golf Club Launch Series (2024) - Inglewood, Los Angeles

Faith-Ann loves collaborating up with change makers, NGOs and organizations to spread awareness around important issues and create big moments. She was excited to work with Los Angeles Golf Club, the brand new golf club founded by Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams and Venus Williams. The goal? To create a custom, inaugural flag series, inspired by golf pin flags, that celebrates and commemorates this new team’s formation.

Faith-Ann aimed to craft a bold, colorful flag series that reflected the vibrant textures and energy of Los Angeles, key moments from LAGC’s launch, and also the club's bold mission : to make golf more accessible, modern, and inclusive for everybody, and to reimagine where and how the game is played.

To do so, the artist visited and photographed various neighborhoods, monuments, and golf courses throughout Los Angeles. She then merged those visuals together with LAGC imagery of its team, founders, and views of this inspiring city - to create modern collages which melded Los Angeles’ streets, seas, and greens.

Each one of the 30+ compositions is unique, highlighting their famous players like Colin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala and Michelle Wei, as well as the founders Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian, as well as iconic landmarks, neighborhoods and colors that make Los Angeles so distinct.

Faith-Ann worked with LAGC to print and install the vibrant, colorful collection throughout this Sofi Stadium park and pond to celebrate LA Golf Club’s powerful debut. These distinct, one-of-a-kind visual totems and iconography memorialized this moment, and also will be used to bring color and festivity to future events, give-aways, and key moments for the LAGC throughout the next year. Guests of the debut event were able to bring home a custom, mini pin flag as well and LAGC plans to bring the flags to street pop-ups as well as to hang in their club rooms at Sofi later on.
